Last year we had a fun time touring many of the kennel girls sewing rooms.
One of our members, Jill lives 2 hours away in Delta, UT.
Although some got to tour her room on the way to a retreat in St. George there were many who didn't. Myself being one of those.
So when the guild decided to take a field trip to Delta for the
"Piece in the Valley" quilt exhibit we decided it would be a perfect time to have Jill show us her creative space!
But, before we head down stairs I had to share her newly remodeled kitchen. Isn't it wonderful?
We were greeted with some of her beautiful quilts at the bottom of the stairs.
Her room is quite large and doubles as a place for visitors to sleep.
Jill made the cute quilt on the bed.

Her sewing table is so unique! An old door with a leaded glass window.
Many wonderful projects that she is working on.
The dresser with baskets is perfect for storing supplies.
This beauty was made by her mother.
Lots of pretties throughout the room!
Sorry that the lighting is not great!
She actually bought this dresser at a yard sale that was held at my home. Of course she painted it and added the fun new handles.
In honor of the 'Snow Geese Festival' that was being celebrated in Delta this weekend as well, Jill made us all this darling flying geese
key chain.
Before we left the 'Kennel Girls' had to try out that comfy
looking bed. :)
Nancy, Lynda, Janey, Sue, Jill, Rita, Cheryl, and Jann (me).
I had invited my friend, Joyce to come along for the fun. This photo
includes her.
We had a fabulous day and missed those who were not able to come play with us!
Happy Quilting,
the kennel girls
