After business was discussed we enjoyed show and tell.  Jill’s last name is Carroll.  Won’t this be so cute in her home?

She also shared two darling baby quilts she had made.

Raeann was kind enough to take photos as I gave the tour of my sewing room.

I recently repainted the walls ‘Caribbean Breeze’ by Benjamin Moore.    The framed collage is a gathering of vintage items I adore.  The shelf below holds some of my pincushion collection as well as a few other sewing treasures.

I found the vintage machine at Urban Renewal in St. George.  I decoupaged  bird paper to portions of the case.  The suitcase holds some unfinished projects.

This tray holds things that I am (should be) working on.

DSC02870

Dotty storage and a couple of small quilts.

DSC02837

I just made this cover for my machine out of a vintage table scarf.

DSC02835

An assortment of food themed pincushions and a  sewing box I painted years ago.

DSC02843

A collection of more pincushions and other vintage sewing items.

DSC02861

A few of my aprons.

DSC02862

I have a large cabinet on one wall with lots of little cubbies.  It houses more treasures as well as quilting books, thread, rulers, and baskets filled with scrap fabric.

Diana’s daughter made the’ sew’ banner.

I recently finished this rose quilt and made the ironing board cover.

Raeann took pictures of my newly organized closet, but I was pulling such a funny face in both that they didn’t make the cut. lol!  but here I am showing my little sewing trinkets that hubby bought from neighbor kids selling them at our door.

Still funny faced, but not quite as bad as the others were.

DSC02852

And showing some sweet pillow cases given to me by my cousin.  They were made by my Aunt Viola.

Hope you enjoyed the tour!
