Quilting through the Seasons Trunk Show (part 1)

Well, I am  slow at getting this post up, but what a fabulous trunk show we had at our Annual Quilt Show held in September.

Four ladies from the Pleasant Grove area presented it with style!

Each one took us through the Seasons that we love celebrating here in UT.

We started off with Kathy Watkins and Jeanne McFadden.  They shared their Fall and Winter quilts.

I’m sorry that the pics aren’t the best.  We tried to keep the gals in the shade of a tree, but it makes for blotchy photos.

Kathy had just finished this quilt before the show.  It was designed by her neighbor.  Isn’t it fun?

The bits of purple and turquoise in this pumpkin quilt really makes it pop!

Jeanne’s Fall:

She hand embroidered this quilt and colored it with crayons.  Isn’t is darling?

As you can tell, Jeanne does a lot of embroidered quilts.  I loved this Hocos Pocusville quilt from the first time I saw it.  Some of us have it started, but unfinished.  I’m not mentioning any names. lol!

She thought that she had brought her large Snowman quilt.  When she opened it she realized it was her table topper.

She just finished this beauty for her bed.

Kathy’s Winter:

So cute and I love the pillow to match!

Her neighbor gave her these darling 12 days of Christmas blocks and she put them together.

Aren’t these wonderful Fall and Winter quilts?  Hard to pick a favorite.

Tomorrow I will share Beth and Roylene’s Spring and Summer Quilts.

Happy Quilting,
