March Guild and Sewing Room Tours Cont.

March meeting was held at Diana's house where our
'sewing room tours'
will continue.

I wasn't able to attend, but our sweet President, Susann took pictures for us to enjoy.

Show and tell is always a hi-lite of our meetings.

It looks as though Sue has been busy as ever.  She shared her penny quilt.  This is a group exchange where we exchanged fabrics for a couple of years.  I think she is the first one to complete hers.  I love it!  Way to go Sue!

Recently she shared a couple photos of these blocks on our fb page and wondered if they had been an exchange we had done.  She had just ran across them in her sewing room.  It wasn't, but wherever they came from they certainly are gorgeous!

What a sweet mini quilt.

Diana shared this cute quilt.  She makes a lot for her grandkids.  Thinking this is for one of them.  Love the colors!

Cheryl shared this fun apron.

Now on to the sewing room tour. . .

At the top of Diana's stairs, before you enter the room she has this fun dresser where she displays some of her gorgeous quilts.  I love how she removed some drawers and added the cute paper!

Diana loves color and her cheery sewing room just makes you feel happy!

A close up of this shelf which houses some of her pincushions and other sewing goodies.  She painted the plates years ago and they are still darling.

Plenty of eye candy in each and every corner!

She also painted this cabinet years ago.  It opens up to a small ironing board.  Isn't it fun?

I love how she added the rick rack and little English paper pieced flower to her lamp shade!

Great way to store her ribbon.  As pretty as it is handy.

Another cute display and some of her wall décor.

This vintage rocking chair pincushion is precious.  It was made by her great grandfather.

I love the green Singer machine!  I was with her when she bought it for $15 at Star Mill Antiques.  What a bargain!

Swooning over this!

It's easy to see that she is surrounded by the things she loves!

Such a cute idea to use an old ironing board for a bulletin board.

Diana does beautiful applique and this gorgeous quilt is one of the many she had made.

She made the cute curtains.  A little hard to see, but there is a button and spool garland.

Thanks so much Diana for sharing your space.  It's a beautiful place for you to create in!

Keep on quilting,
The Kennel Girls
