I am finally getting around to finishing up the posts for our fabulous Quilt Show. It’s our big event that we hold every September to show off what us kennel gals have been working on throughout the year.
It is also a charity event. The money is always donated to a good cause.
This year Paula Kunze from Ferron, UT put on our fabulous trunk show. She has only been quilting for a few years and you would not believe the quilts she has made.
Quilts with applique and lots of details are her passion. I have lots of pics. I will let them do most of the talking.
See what I mean about lots of detail and applique?
Aren’t these Christmas quilts amazing?
Her sweet baby quilts were a big hit.
Look at the work on this one. My sister, Julie helping Paula.
I know that it is difficult with so many quilts, but did you find a favorite?
I think this bird themed one is mine. It flew right into my heart!
A big thank you to this talented lady for traveling so far to share her wonderful collection of quilts. She truly is an amazing woman!
Hugs,
the kennel gals

Jann, thanks for doing this. I was in the kitchen and missed the show. It is so nice to be able to see a little of all the wonderful quilts that we're shown. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThanks from me too. I was at the front table and could only see from a distance. I see that I really missed a great show.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful, I love the the feel and look or quilting but find I don't have the talent to do it but I admire anyone who does.
