Playing Catch Up - May Guild

Oh my, has it really been this long since I have posted about the Dog Kennel Girls?

Sorry, to have been so lax.  Obviously, I have a bit of catching up to do.

Think I need 'keeping on track' as a New Years resolution! :)

Let's step back and see what happened in the month of May.

Our President, Susann gave us a good laugh by showing us a block she had sewn wrong.

Hard to believe, but the kennel girls do not always sew perfectly.  lol!

Marilyn, Diana, Lynda, and Cheryl.

We are still exchanging 5 inch 'Aunt Gracie' type fabric squares for our hexagon projects.

I love this summer quilt shared by Lynda!

And look at this one.  Boy is she ever ready for summer.
 Cute, cute!

Cheryl has done so many amazing wool projects this year.  I love working with wool!

 Me (Jann), Rita, and Amanda.

This old photo was the inspiration behind this next quilt shared by Sue.  This was her fathers gas station.

So of course when she saw this quilt pattern, she had to make it for her son.

A couple of close ups.

How fun is the back?

Her son made the old photo into a water color and framed it.
What an amazing piece of art!

I hope you enjoyed this little look back into the Kennel Girls
 Quilt Guild!

Keep on Stitching,
